Brace yourselves for the summer of 2013 – for it marks the first installment of the brand new and gargantuan BEASTIVAL festival series that will supply you with supreme heaviness, the biggest acts in metal and mean shredding!!! This three-day headbanger`s feast will take place May 30th to June 1st and will get you a perfect start into your very own heavy summer! Located in Geiselwind, Germany the line up that will enter two stages already looks like a wet dream come true. Beside SABATON, WINTERSUN, KATAKLYSM, SATYRICON and many other bands the “Big Teutonic 4" KREATOR, SODOM, DESTRUCTION and TANKARD have been announced.
As if that weren't enough, further bands have been confirmed today! Heavy metal and power metal fans should be ready for this:
BRAINSTORM
Founded in 1989, BRAINSTORM quickly established themselves as one of Germany`s leading power metal acts! Records like „Soul temptation” (2003), „Liquid monster” (2005) or „Downburst” (2008) not only turned the band into a safe bet when it comes to riff-laden metal anthems, but also brought BRAINSTORM chart success in their native country. Released in 2011, “On the spur of the moment” saw the band embarking on extensive tours before they entered studios again to record material for a new album scheduled for a 2013 release!

BLOODBOUND
BLOODBOUND – that`s not just the title of a HAMMERFALL song, but also the name of another Swedish metal act! And wouldn`t you have guessed it: both bands indulge in power metal! BLOODBOUND released their debut “Nosferatu” in 2005, and seven years later they gave us a true manifesto: “In the name of metal” saw the light of day in 2012, and all fans of purest Swedish steel should look forward to BLOODBOUND`s show at the BEASTIVAL!

MYSTIC PROPHECY
Heavy as fuck – somehow this expression seems to have been coined with bands like Germany`s MYSTIC PROPHECY in mind! High-energy power metal meets classic metal and thrash elements, and this mixture leaves no stone unturned on killer albums such as “Fireangel” (2009). After the release of “Ravenlord” (2011) and tours in the United States amongst others, 2013 will mark the release of yet another neckbreaking MYSTIC PROPHECY longplayer!

LONEWOLF
French act LONEWOLF have been a splendid choice ever since the 90s if you dig high-energy power metal! The fourpiece is unmatched when it comes to setting metal hearts on fire with neckbreaking anthems full of doublebass attacks and catchy melodies – see for yourselves and check out their latest effort “Army of the damned”. The Hungarian newcomers of WISDOM might have already started out in 2001, but the fivepiece`s first proper studio album „Judas” has only been released last year!
