SHELOB gathers members of HOLLOW CORP (Prosthetic Records, KYLESA, GOJIRA, ALL THAT REMAINS…), NIC-U, ME AS THE DEVIL, SIX IN LINE and JIZZLOBBER, who all have been used to appearing on many french and european stages for more than a decade.
The french band was born in early 2010 and very quickly the chemistry operated thanks to a heavy, progressive, intense and tormented music architecture and a litteraly inspired singing.
The first eponymous album is produced, recorded and mixed by band between november et december 2010.
The mastering was handled by Alan Douches (MASTODON, SEPULTURA, CONVERGE, DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN...) at the West West Side Studio in New Windsor (NY).
Inspired by The Book of the Law, written by Aleister Crowley in 1909, SHELOB's album invit you to live an introspective experience where the occult, the transfiguration of the subconscious and the transfiguration of the soul are linked together within parallel worlds.
